Planning Coordinator
As a Planning Coordinator, you ensure that design and construction in structural and bridge engineering work together seamlessly. You review, structure, and coordinate planning deliverables, and verify that technical concepts are complete, feasible, and aligned with project schedules. You work closely with planning engineering firms, internal project teams, and the construction site, taking on a central role in technical coordination — from the tender phase through to execution. This position is aimed at professionals who work with solid technical foundations, recognise complex interdependencies, and coordinate in a structured manner.

Your responsibilities
Coordinating, analytical, technical
- Review of structural tender documents for completeness and feasibility
- Technical evaluation of concepts and proposals from bid teams
- Development of technical alternative and variant proposals during the tender phase
- Participation in the procurement of planning services
- Technical supervision and coordination of external engineering firms
- Interface coordination between design and construction
- Participation in preliminary sizing in early project phases
- Planning coordination in accordance with relevant guidelines (e.g. ZTV-ING)
- Creation and maintenance of planning schedules and drawing registers
- Ensuring planning deliverables meet contractual, quality, and schedule requirements
- Development of structural concepts and preliminary structural analyses
- Coordination and design of temporary works in collaboration with project teams
Your profile
Technical expertise and organisational ability
- Degree in civil engineering
- Professional experience in planning, project management, or structural engineering
- Confident use of common planning and project management software
- Knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations
- Structured, thorough, and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with internal and external project stakeholders
