Description of the service

Through this website, BauKarriere provides a digital service for finding vacancies and contacting a recruitment service in the construction and recruitment sectors. The service is intended for applicants and interested employers and is free of charge and non-binding for applicants.

How our service works

Visitors can browse vacancies by industry and specialist area, read job descriptions and contact BauKarriere by phone, email or contact form. Additional details and documents can be submitted voluntarily through the contact form. Applicants do not need an account and do not make any payment. After initial contact, further advice is provided personally. An employment contract is not concluded through this website, but may subsequently be concluded with the relevant employer.

Accessibility requirements

For the electronic part of the service, we take particular account of sections 12, 13 and 19 of the regulation implementing the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSGV). Content and functions should be perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. This includes keyboard operation, comprehensible structures and labels, sufficient contrast, scalable presentation, text alternatives and clearly presented form errors. EN 301 549 and the WCAG 2.1 success criteria at conformance levels A and AA serve as technical test criteria; naming them does not constitute certification or an unrestricted claim of conformance.

Implementation of the accessibility requirements

The assessment of 22 July 2026 identified remaining deviations from individual requirements relevant to web content. The following information describes the assessment status, does not establish a statutory exemption and does not replace the necessary corrective measures. Technical improvements and testing are continuing.

Known limitations

• Some text and controls do not yet achieve the required colour contrast in every state.

Tests performed

Testing covered keyboard order and the skip link in Chromium, the browser accessibility tree, mobile viewports down to 320 CSS pixels, 200 and 400 per cent reflow, increased text spacing, forced system colours and automated Lighthouse audits on representative pages. Additional practical tests with NVDA on Windows and TalkBack on Android require those target systems and are not part of the macOS test environment.

Competent market surveillance authority
